Work has finished over in North Yorkshire to complete a program of alterations and refurbishments to a barn and separate gatehouse annex, which have been connected by a new link extension.  The barn was converted into residential accommodation in the mid-1990’s, with part of the building being used as an artist’s studio.  The studio has been retained, but the overall layout of the barn has been significantly altered.

The link was intended to be light, airy and contemporary in design, without jarring too much with the traditional surrounding buildings.

The work has been carried out to an extremely high standard and we’re all delighted with the results.  Once we have some hi-res images, we’ll add these to our portfolio pages.
